The Grey Owl Juniper grows 3-4' tall & 8-10' wide at maturity, and I would think after 3 years of growth, they would be pretty close to their mature width. Of course it all depends on growing conditions and weather, but I would definitely think they would be at least 6-8' wide.
This juniper is easily grown in dry to moist, well-drained soils of average fertility in full sun. It will grow slowly up to 3 feet in height and spread to a width of 6 feet.
